A performance as part of the 100th anniversary of the Ballets Russes' Rite of Spring, commissioned by producer Clara Giraud.

 

Expect bruises, sweat and blood in this new version of the ballet in which sacrifice takes on a very real dimension.  A live Mixed Martial Arts match fought to the original Stravinsky score by dancers Jordan Lennie and Joseph Mercier recentently trained in combat techniques.
