'Slowly but surely I want to strip her of every kind of happiness so as to make a saint of her.' - Jean Genet

OF SAINTS AND GO-GO BOYS is a show that honours the abject, the shocking, and the profane. It is the story of 3 outcasts searching for a different kind of Sainthood. Told with striking and beautiful imagery, it explores and questions what it means to be queer in a capitalist world and interrogates ideas around sex work, illicit drugs, perversion and contemporary sexualities.
The performance is a tribute to Jean Genet’s work, a mix of fantasy and reality, truth and fiction, but also a tribute to people today living their lives in similar ways.
